Stephanie Cooper Priesmeyer was a 1990 graduate of Seymour High School and won seven varsity letters in golf and basketball.

In golf, she was a four-year varsity player for the Lady Owls and helped lead the team to unprecedented success. Seymour never lost a dual or triangular match in four seasons and won four sectionals, two regionals and one state championship.

As a senior, Stephanie was medalist in the Bedford Tourney and the South Central Conference Tourney and shot an 86 in the state tourney to help Seymour to a 29-stroke win over Marion and its first state golf championship. As a junior, she was medalist in the Bedford Tourney and the South Central Conference tourney and helped Seymour to a second place finish in the state tournament where they lost to Evansville Harrison by just two shots. As a sophomore, Stephanie was sectional medalist and earned All-South Central Conference honors. She also helped the Lady Owls to a second place finish in the state tournament. And as a freshman, she earned All South Central Conference honors and helped Seymour to a fourth place finish in the state tourney. Stephanie was team co-Most Valuable Player three times and was selected to the Indiana All-State Golf team twice.

She won three varsity letters in basketball and was a two-year starter. As a junior, she helped Seymour to sectional and regional championships. As a senior, she led the team in assists and free throw shooting. She was voted to the All-South Central Conference team and was the team’s co-MVP her senior season.

Stephanie was selected as Seymour High School’s Most Outstanding Female Athlete in 1990.

She received a golf scholarship to the University of Missouri and played four years for the Tigers. She earned Academic All-Big Eight Conference honors as a senior.

After graduation, Stephanie coached golf and junior varsity basketball at Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri before being hired as the Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Missouri in 2001. In her 20 plus years of coaching at Missouri, she has led the Tigers to the NCAA Regionals eight times and her teams have won 17 tournament titles. She was the 2004 Big 12 Conference Coach of the Year and the 2005 NCAA Central Region Coach of the Year.
